Terms of Service

Last updated: April 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using FyVault ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. The Service is operated by Fybyte ("we", "our", "us"). If you do not agree with these terms, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

FyVault is a secrets management platform that provides kernel-level secret injection via eBPF. The Service includes a web dashboard, CLI tools, and an agent that runs on your infrastructure.

3. Account Registration

You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems.
  • Reverse engineer or decompile the agent software.
  • Resell or redistribute the Service without authorization.
  • Use the Service to store content that violates applicable laws.

5. Pricing and Billing

Free tier usage is available without charge. Paid plans are billed monthly or annually as selected. Prices may change with 30 days notice. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis.

6. Data Ownership

You retain full ownership of your data, including all secrets and configuration stored in FyVault. We do not access your plaintext secrets due to our zero-knowledge architecture. You can export or delete your data at any time.

7. Service Availability

We target 99.9% uptime for the FyVault cloud service. The agent operates independently after boot, so your applications continue to function even during cloud outages. We are not liable for downtime caused by factors beyond our control.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Fybyte shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Termination

Either party may terminate this agreement at any time. Upon termination, your data will be retained for 30 days to allow export, after which it will be permanently deleted.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or through the Service dashboard. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
